BPDUs are not able to be transmitted and received globally on Switch SW1. What can be done to solve the issue?
Configure the command "spanning-tree portfast default disable" on each interface.
Issue the command "spanning-tree portfast default" globally.
Set the command "spanning-tree portfast bpduguard default" globally.
Apply the command "spanning-tree bpduguard disable" on each interface needing to send and receive BPDUs.
By applying the interface sub-command "spanning-tree bpduguard disable" the BPDU Guard will be disabled on the interface (allowing transmission and reception of BPDUs). Portfast bypasses listening and learning states in the STP convergence, putting the port directly on the STP forwarding state (It allows BPDU communication). BPDU guard disables the port with PortFast configured and transitions the port into an err-disabled state. To counteract this transaction, use the "spanning-tree bpdugard disable" command on the interface. By default, STP BPDU guard is disabled.
