In regards to information security, what is authenticity?
Making sure unauthorized changes are not made to data.
When data is genuine.
Making sure data is accessible when permitted parties request it.
When data can only be accessed by permitted parties.
Authenticity is making sure data is authentic- genuine and not corrupted. It's a very similar but slightly different concept to integrity. Be careful about that on the exam! Edit: Authenticity should just be that it is genuine, making sure it is not corrupted is integrity, correct?EDIT: removed "not corrupted". Corrupted has to do w/ integrity.
