Refer to the exhibit. An ACL is configured to block all incoming traffic, except that from network 10.1.1.0/24. Host 10.1.1.124 in subnet 10.1.1.0/24 is unable to send traffic. According to the output, what can be done to solve the issue?
Configure the interface Ethernet1/0 as outbound.
Modify the access-list 1 wildcard to 0.0.0.255
Configure the IP address of the interface to 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.248
Modify the "access-group 1 in" command to "access-list 1 in".
The wildcard must be configured to correspond the same subnet as the interface (255.255.255.0), in this case the correspondent wildcard is (0.0.0.255). The command line "access-list 1 permit 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.7" is allowing only IPs from 10.1.1.1 to 10.1.1.6. To allow all devices (including 10.1.1.124) to be able to send traffic through interface Ethernet1/0 the wildcard must be reconfigured to 0.0.0.255. The command "access-list 1" under the interface configuration does not exist. The ACL must be set as inbound to protect incoming traffic to the interface. If the ACL is configured outbound the ACL would not work. For more information refer to: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/ios-firewall/23602-confaccesslists.html
