Refer to the exhibit. What must be configured on the Router R1 and Switch SW1 to allow communication between PC1 and PC2? (Choose Two)
On switch SW1, configure "interface vlan 1" followed by "ip default-gateway 192.168.3.1".
On Switch SW1 configure the "switchport mode trunk" under the interface f0/1.
On Router R1, configure f0/1 with the IP address 192.168.3.2 255.255.255.0.
On Switch SW1, configure the VTP as "Server mode".
On Router R1, configure "router eigrp 1" followed by "network 192.168.2.0" and "network 192.168.1.0".
On Router R1, configure two subinterfaces under f0/1 with the IPs 192.168.1.1/24 and 192.168.2.1/24, including its encapsulation dot1q [vlan #]
Router on a stick is one of the methods used to allow inter-VLAN communication. To allow inter-VLAN routing communication, a router or a layer 3 switch must be used. To support 802.1Q or ISL encapsulation method for routing on a Fast Ethernet interface the encapsulation must be agreed on both sides. The routers interface is divided into subinterfaces (logical interfaces) for each VLAN, in this case two subinterfaces were used, one for each VLAN. The router will know each network and add it into its routing table, however if the encapsulation method is not configured for each VLAN the router will not know that the link is a trunk.
