You want to configure static PAT on Router1 so that hosts on the LAN while hidden to the internet are able to communicate with public hosts such as web servers like www.skillset.com. Which two of the following NAT command sets should be applied on Router1's interface and IOS global configuration mode? (Choose two)
ip nat outside
ip nat inside source list 1 interface Serial0/0/0 overload
ip nat outside source list 1 interface Serial0/0/0 overload
ip nat inside
ip nat inside source list 1 interface Fa0/0/0 overload
To configure static PAT to allow internal users to access the internet, you need to use the overloading feature which enable NAT-overloading or PAT. In the scenario, you can perform these configurations by issuing the global configuration command "ip nat inside source list 1 interface Serial0/0/0 overload" which configures NAT to overload on the address that is assigned to the serial0/0/0 interface. You can then apply the interface level command "ip nat inside" to define the interface as NAT inside interface (LAN where the hosts to be translated reside). We do not use "ip nat outside" as the hosts that needs to be translated is from the inside (LAN).
