Adoption of a new business model should be preceded by reviewing the company's security policy. Is this statement True or False?
True
False
The Security policy should be reviewed prior to adoption of a new business model, because it has been demonstrated that considering the security policy prior to significant organizational changes can be very influential in helping organizations meet their business goals, align their business objectives, and improve efficiency under the proposed new business model, by establishing information protection and risk management strategies. It is true that security does not drive business, but the addition of a new line of business or a major change in structure should follow a review of security policy. This does not mean that a disparity between policy and the desired outcome would prevent said change, just that the process is performed in line with existing policy.
Does ISC2 Really use High Falutin words in the exam? especially that the CISSP doesn't require a 4 year/higher degree. Grandiose words should be avoided EDIT: this is wrong adoption on the new model has nothing to do with security policy.
