The network has been configured with STP. SwitchZ is the newest and most powerful switch and is currently a non-Root Bridge for VLAN 10. All other switches have the default STP parameters. What can be configured so that SwitchZ is the root bridge of vlan 10?
spanning-tree root vlan 10
spanning-tree vlan 10 root primary
spanning-tree vlan 10 priority 120
spanning-tree primary vlan 10
spanning-tree root
If no default values have been modified, the oldest switches have lower Bridge ID than the newest switches. Lowest Bridge ID means that (if the priority is default) the MAC address is lower. For a VLAN, the switch with the highest priority (lowest numerical value) is selected as the Root Bridge. If all the switches are configured with the default priority value (32768), the switch with the lowest MAC address in the VLAN will be the Root Bridge.
