The STP timer values for all switches in the network have been changed. How is it possible to change them back?
Reconfigure the timers on the root bridge switch.
Reconfigure only on the Non-root bridges.
Reconfigure the timers on all the switches in the network.
Reconfigure the timers on the primary and secondary root bridge switches.
Reconfigure only on the switches that have a Root Port.
To make STP work, the switches send BPDUs to each other to form a loop free topology. STP uses three timers to make sure that a switched network can converge properly before a loop can occur. The timers are "Hello timer", "Forward delay timer", and "Maximum Age timer". To re-adjust the timers, only configure the Root Bridge so it will send updated BPDUs with the new timers.
