Which of the following is the block size in AES?
192 bits
64 bits
256 bits
128 bits
The winner of the AES contest, Rijndael, supports block and key sizes of 128, 192, and 256 bits, but in AES the block size is always 128 bits. The extra block sizes were not adopted by the AES standard. Many block ciphers, such as RC5, support a variable block size. Edited from default block size to just plain block size. There is only one block size with this standard. Edited again to highlight that there is only one correct answer for AES. As originally written, the question applied to Rijndael, not AES.
