What is the main disadvantage with symmetric cryptography?
Symmetric cryptography is very process intensive and can be slow to use for large data sets.
Its relies on a large number of key files pairs that have to be managed and maintained at precise regular intervals.
It presumes two parties have agreed on a key and been able to exchange that key in a secure manner prior to communication.
Symmetric cryptography uses a single key to both encrypt and decrypt data. Any party that has the key can use it to encrypt and decrypt data. They are also referred to as block ciphers. (EDIT: Removed "All of these" option. Multiple options cannot be "main".)
