This is incorrect...to make this work, the answer should be nmap -p 192.168.1-5.* EDIT: nmap -P 192.168.1-5/24 shows "Illegal Argument to -P " why is not one reviewing these questions? EDIT2: Nmap -p 192.168.1-5.* is also incorrect, because -p parameter requires port number specified: "Error #487: Your port specifications are illegal." (nmap v.7.70). Fixed to "nmap -p- 192.168.1-5.*" (-p- is correct and will scan all ports from 1 to 65535) and also fixed first letter (in all answers) to be lowercase!
