Password-less logins, such as the use of RSA key pairs is more secure than typical username and password credentials.

Well actually it's a big question, for example if I setup an SSH key on my phone to connect to my home machine, should I lose my phone and someone manages to unlock it, they will be able to connect to my home machine.
Why would you take out a layer of security? Isn't all of this about defense in depth layered security.
Edit:this is a bad question in my opinion: the former is "what you have" while the latter is 2x "what you know" (userid and password". The question may need to clarify the context of secure because what you have as the means of authentication doesn't feel secure at all. If the security focuses only on the difficulty of cracking the keys, may be the answer is correct but it still depends on the length and the complexity of the password. (EDIT: Consider the likelyhood of an attack. What are the odds of something you have falling into the hands of a blackhat who is targeting you? The are rarely even in the same country.)
