SQL injection attacks could be used to cause a denial of service.
True
False
Yes, for example if a user 'drops' a table (deletes it), then this information is lost or unavailable and causes a denial of service.
EDIT: in my opinion 'drop' cannot cause a DoS. There are SQL commands that can cause a real DoS, for example: SELECT BENCHMARK( 5000000, SHA1( 'test' ) ). This SQL query will calculate SHA1 hash of 'test' word and repeat it 5000000 times which can exhaust server resources (CPU). There are also another ways to make a DoS attack on SQL database/server.
