C and C++ are the programming languages that are usually used for Windows Phone 8 app development. | Edit so which is it? .Net or your answer. EDIT: .Net is a framework, not a language. Changed answer to C++ and C. Not sure why it was set to .Net
Edit: Applications for Windows Phone are: Visual C++, Visual C# and Visual Basic. C language is not used as far as I know. https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb677133.aspx (If I'm wrong, please provide a valid source). So according to shown answers, none of them are correct. The most correct (if "Visual" word is omitted) is Basic and C++ and marking this answer as the correct one (according to URL specified above).
EDIT: The most popular and most used language for WinRT development is C# (moslty associated with .NET Framework). Please rework this question...
EDIT: It's true that most popular is C# but there is two other also that is C/C++ and visual basic.
