CIDR (pronounced see-duhr) is the short form representation of the Subnet Mask. If you have a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 the CIDR notation will be "/24" representing the 1s or ON bits in the subnet mask from left to right. The C stands for Classless and not Classful because the notation can represent sub-networks and not just the default for that network class. The other options do not exist.
