What is true about the Access Layer of the Cisco three-layer hierarchical model? (Choose two.)
Routing between VLANs and other workgroup maintenance functions.
Definition of Broadcast domains.
Separate collision domains.
User and workgroup access to internetwork resources.
Design for high reliability.
The three layers of the Cisco Hierarchical Model are:
1. Core layer: Responsible for transmitting large amounts of data, reliably and fast.
2. Distribution layer: Communication between access and core layer. Responsible for routing, filtering and WAN access. Broadcast are defined at this layer, through routing or VLAN creation.
Data user is processed at this layer.
3. Access layer: Segmentation of data and creation of separate collision domains. Workgroup connectivity into the distribution layer.
Switches and end users are here - lots of collision domains in a switch so I guess this how this question gets here
