A tech support client complains that their PC is running slowly. Which of the following are possible causes?
Their PSU (power supply) is insufficient for all of the hardware components their PC is using.
Their machine needs a RAM upgrade.
Their machine is infected with malware.
Their hard disk needs to be de-fragmented.
Further troubleshooting will be required to determine if the cause is one of these reasons, a combination of those reasons, or something different altogether. Due note that fragmentation is more of an issue with FAT and NTFS (Windows) than most other modern file systems. If the wattage of their PSU is insufficient for the hardware configuration, it's most likely the machine will have problems booting. It won't lead to slow performance if the user has booted into the OS and has been using their computer.
