What service lets a router use the same IP address with different TCP source port numbers for each link?
Overloading
Dynamic NAT
CIDR
Static NAT
Overloading is a form of dynamic Network Address Translation (NAT), which maps multiple unregistered IP addresses to a single registered (Public) IP address via different source ports. It is also known as Port Address Translation (PAT), because it allows many users to connect to the internet using only one public IP address. Static NAT allows a one-to-one mapping between local and public address. Dynamic NAT allows mapping a local IP address to a public using a pool of public addresses. CIDR is a global address assignment convention. For more information refer to: [Odom W. - Cisco CCENT - CCNA ICND1 100-101 Official Certification Guide, Chapter 24].
