You are tasked to configure a router connected to a Frame Relay switch which is configured with ITU-T standard. It is required that you manually configure the LMI type on that interface, hence, disabling the default auto-sensing feature on that router. Which command should satisfy the requirements?
frame-relay lmi-type ietf
frame-relay lmi-type cisco
frame-relay lmi-type q933a
frame-relay lmi-type ansi
frame-relay lmi-type itu-t
Three Local Management Interface (LMI) Frame Relay types are supported by Cisco: ANSI Annex D, CISCO, and ITU-T Q933-A. By default, if LMI type is not specifically configured on an interface, LMI auto-sensing is activated. IT means that as soon as the "no shutdown" command is applied on a Frame Relay interface, the interface starts sending LMI status requests for all three LMI types. An LMI status reply message returned by the switch carries the information of LMI type as well as status of the PVC. To disable LMI auto-sensing, manually set the LMI type on the interface by issuing the command "frame-relay lmi-type [q933a | cisco | ansi]".
